Urban Sketchers Twin Cities,
Details: Landmark Center, downtown St Paul, between 5th & 6th Streets adjacent to Rice Park and the Ordway. The building, cafe, gift shop, quartile, and galleries will be open for us to explore and find just the right perspective for sketching. This is a beautiful historic "castle" which served as the federal building for Minnesota in the early days of statehood.

1. Bell Museum Sketch Night
When: Wednesday, October 15th, 5:30-8:30pm (NOTE: Correct date is October 14th)

"This
is a special opportunity to spread out your drawing materials and take
your time sketching in the Bell’s Touch and See Lab and at our wildlife
dioramas. Bring your own materials or try out some of ours!
Join
us for an evening of Beavers and Botanicals sketching! Guest artists of
the Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden Florilegium will be on hand with
demonstrations, and the exhibition Wild Beauty: The Botanical Art of the
Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden Florilegium will be open for viewing,
with artist-led tours and painting demonstrations, from Dana Boyle,
Ronda Dick, and Marilyn Garber. In keeping with our theme, mammal and
plant specimens will be on display for detailed drawing.
Please
note: This is a special program for sketchers. The Planetarium will not
be open. Participants pay regular museum admission: tickets are
available in advance or at the door."
