Urban Sketchers TC member Burt Elmer welcomes you to a Pop-Up sketch outing at Big Stone Mini Golf and Big Stone Advancing Arts Minnesota!

The Big Stone Mini Golf in Minnetrista, Minnesota, is primarily known as a boutique 14-hole mini-golf course and a farm which showcases Big Stone Advancing Arts sharing sculptured works on the property - metal, stone, whimsical and serious sculptures are open to see and sketch. In addition to the sculpture garden, a collection of farm animals such as goats, a Scottish Highland bull, a cow or two, and an array of chickens will also be fun to sketch.

Details- Tentatively, the owner/ primary resident artist will be there to meet us at 9am and describe his purpose for art and to give an overview. Sketcher Throw-down: 10:45 - 11:00 am.

Fees: No fees for access to the property to sketch. However, if after sketching, Urban Sketchers are interested, you can get a paid tee-time, and BSMG would reserve play slots. Golf fees are cash or check at $15/ person. Parking is free. Refreshments are available for cash sale.

Golf Option: For those interested, pay to play 14-hole mini-golf, preset Tee-time at 11:00 am. Morning provides ideal, non-busy or uninterrupted access to the property. Limited to no wait times to play.
