1. TOMORROW, Sunday, March 8th-- Pop Up Sketch outing at Backstory Coffee in North Loop

We have a fellow sketcher, Lu Marie, visiting from Pittsburgh. We are meeting up at Backstory Coffee Roasters - North Loop. Please join us for this impromptu sketch meet up. Backstory is a favored coffee sketch meetup location with a large beautiful space full of sketching potential.

Date: Sunday, March 8th
Time: 1:30 pm- 3:30pm
Where: Backstory Coffee Roaster -North Loop
528 N Washington Ave, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Paid street parking. There is some free street parking if you don’t mind a 10 min walk. 

 

2. Coffee Sketch at Hosmer Library

When: Wednesday March 11th, 1-3pm

Where: 347 E 36th St. Minneapolis MN

NOTE START TIME is 1:00 p.m.

Hosmer is another of Minneapolis’s Carnegie Libraries with a rich history and beautiful architectural details. It is also a vibrant community hub in the Powderhorn neighborhood.

Hosmer Library serves the Powderhorn community of Minneapolis. The library opened in 1916 and was the last of four Carnegie-funded libraries built in the city. One of 13 libraries developed under nationally known library director Gratia Countryman, the library is named for James K. Hosmer, who preceded Countryman as director from 1892-1904. The library has received historic designation from the City of Minneapolis Heritage Preservation Commission and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

4. Sketch at the Como Zoo and Conservatory, Sunday, March 15th, 12-3pm. Hosted by our friends at Metrosketchers, you are invited to join them at Como!

YES! Join in the fun - MetroSketchers are coming to the Como Park Zoo Conservatory.
When - Sunday, March 15, 2026. Noon -3pm. 
Where - Como Zoo Conservatory is at 1225 Estabrook Drive, St Paul, MN 55103
Details: Meet up at main entry at Noon. Admission is free but good will donations are accepted. Sketch what appeals to you. Meet back up at 2:45 pm back at the main entry to share your work and take our group photo.
