Weekend Sketching at Outing Lodge in Stillwater (March 1) and Upcoming Events

Join us for a fun weekend sketch event this coming Sunday, March 1st, 12-3pm.

Where: Outing Lodge at Pine Point, 11661 Myeron Rd. N, Stillwater MN

Fellow sketcher Carlotta Estevez is opening her European-style estate for us to sketch.

The location was founded in 1858 as Minnesota’s second “poor farm” for people down-on-their luck.

In the 1980s owner Lee Gohlike renovated the structure to save it from demolition. Today the Lodge has an enchanting feel with candelabras, seven massive fireplaces, 100 year-old pine and fir beams and antique furnishings.

All art mediums allowed. Free parking and restrooms available. Bring your own stool if you’d like.

Throw-down will be at 2:45 in the premises.
