Hi Urban Sketchers Twin Cities--
Don't Miss our October Sketch Meet at the Como Zoo and Conservatory!

Things are getting a little spooky (and a whole lot of fun) at Como Park Zoo and Conservatory! On Saturday, October 18th, 12-3pm, we’ll be sketching at Como Zoo and Conservatory during their annual Creepy-Crawly Creature Awareness Weekend—two days filled with bugs, snakes, spooky plants, and wild discoveries that are sure to give you chills and thrills (learn more here:
https://comozooconservatory.org/como/creepy-crawly-weekend/).

12pm- meet outside the visitor center entrance (if raining, go into the entrance and look for us).
2:45 pm- Throwdown and group photo (location TBD)

There's something for everyone! Sketch the zoo, Japanese garden, indoor gardens, grounds, or Cafesjian's Carousel.
Don’t Miss the Finale of the Fall Flower Show-
As an added treat, this is also the final weekend to enjoy Part One of the Fall Flower Show in the Sunken Garden. Come for the creepy crawlies, stay for the beauty!
Also open (if warmer than 45 degrees) and sketchable: Cafesjian’s Carousel (https://ourfaircarousel.org/)
The Carousel is located in St. Paul’s Como Park near Como Zoo, just south of the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory and the Visitor Center.

It will be busy, so learn more about parking: https://comozooconservatory.org/visitors/directions-parking/
