March Sketch Meet at Fiorintino Clock Museum (3/15) and Let's Share--"Fun With Textures" (3/13, Zoom)

Urban Sketchers Twin Cities, don't miss these two fun events this week!

1. March Monthly USK Twin Cities sketchout at the Fiorentino Museum
When: This Saturday, March 15th, 12-3pm

Where: 126 N 1st Street, Minneapolis, MN 55401

Urban Sketchers Twin Cities sketchers will have the wonderful opportunity to sketch again in the James J Fiorentino Museum for our next sketchout. https://www.clocksandstuff.org/
This museum is open by appointment only and Urban Sketchers Twin Cities is thrilled they will be opening especially for us on Saturday 3/15. Join us in the Warehouse District for an afternoon sketching antique and restored cuckoo clocks, beer steins, phonographs, and much more. The building housing the collection is also very sketchable.
Things to know: bring your own sketching stool or seating, no charcoal is allowed in the museum. And, as always, be tidy as we're guests in this space.
See more photos of the space on our blog post https://urbansketchers-twincities.blogspot.com/.../februa...
Getting There
126 N 1st Street, Minneapolis, MN 55401. Enter the building through the black door on N 1st Street for a welcome from chapter admins and museum staff at 12:00. We will meet again at 2:45 to share sketches.
Public transit
There are many buses that will drop you close by on Hennepin Ave or Washington Ave, just two blocks from the museum. The light rail line is another good option that increases your walk by a few blocks. Find your route use MetroTransit's Trip Planner. https://www.metrotransit.org/trip-planner
Parking
There is no dedicated parking for the museum. There is metered parking on neighborhood streets and several parking ramps nearby. If you're using metered parking, consider getting the parking app to make re-upping the meter simple. https://www.minneapolismn.gov/getting.../parking-driving/...
