Urban Sketchers Twin Cities, don’t miss out on our April Sketch Meet at Heimie’s Haberdashery!

When: Sunday, April 27th, 12-3pm
Where: Heimie’s Haberdashery, 400 St Peter St, St Paul, MN 55102, in the Historic Hamm Building near the Landmark Center.

We are thrilled to be invited to this beautiful haberdashery—Established in 1947, Heimie's began its journey in a quaint warehouse district before evolving into a cornerstone of tailored elegance. Anthony Andler and Amye Scharlau will be hosting us for the afternoon as we take in and sketch the beautiful architecture, leather shop, lighting fixtures, barber shop, cigar area, and other rooms in this amazing space. Antiques, furniture, pictures, taxidermy, and other visual treats await you! It is a feast for the eyes and a delight for sketchers!

Meet and greet in the store at 12pm for announcements and introductions, 2:45 pm sketch throw down and group photo. Coffee, tea, cookies, and water will be available. Restrooms are available in the store.

Other Information-
-Amye plans to do short video clips as well, if you do not want to be taped, please let her know.
-Heimie’s would love to feature an artwork on the free postcards that are passed out at the store. During the sketch throw-down at 2:45pm, Anthony will select a sketch for the postcard. If your sketch is chosen, he will take a digital photo of it at that time, and you’ll receive a leather portfolio made at Heimie’s. (So Awesome!) Artist credit will be given on the postcard. Consider bringing loose paper to work on, if you’d like.

Parking— metered parking is free on Sundays and there is a ramp on 6th St. E. Come a little early to look for parking, as this is St. Paul Art Crawl weekend!
