December Sketch-Meet (12/15) at Squirrel Haus Arts and Coffee Sketch (12/6) at The Clapping Monkey

Urban Sketchers Twin Cities— Join us for our December Sketch-Meet!
When: Sunday, December 15th, 12-3pm
Where: Squirrel Haus Arts, 3450 Snelling Ave S Minneapolis

We will have an “open house” as members from our group who attended the Urban Sketchers International Symposium in Buenos Aires share their sketchbooks, stories, and additional sketches/photos done in Argentina. You will be free to mill around tables and talk to each of them and have Q/A time.
Gary Bingner has offered to share video footage from his incredible work as the video correspondent at the Symposium.

As time allows, bring your sketch materials for sketching inside the Squirrel Haus (studio spaces, squirrel paraphernalia, wood shop space, a prop dinosaur head, an antique bicycle, etc…) or outside with industrial scenes/grain elevators/trains, etc…
Snacks (crackers, chips and dip, water and tea) and restrooms will be available.

Squirrel Haus Arts (http://www.squirrelhausarts.com/) is an 8,000 sq. ft. creative incubator, community gathering space, performance venue, workshop and art gallery in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis. Squirrelhaus faces the grain elevators and RR tracks on Hiawatha and 35th street.

Directions: Please come to the rear of Squirrel Haus Arts at 3450 Cheatham Ave. to park. You may also park in the dirt lot across Cheatham. Parking is free. Cross street is 35th St. We are one block east of Hiawatha Ave. Look for the squirrel mural. That’s us!
