Coffee Sketch at Rosedale Shopping Center (Wed. 12/18), Bakken Artist Reception (1/5), and More!

 

Urban Sketchers Twin Cities, 

Join us for a Coffee Sketch this week at Rosedale Shopping Center!

When: Wednesday December 18th, 10am-noon

Where: 1595 Highway 36W #10, Roseville, MN

 

Meet at the interior mall entrance to Potluck food court at 10am. Throw-down at 11:45 at same place. The mall will be decorated for the holidays, plus has many decorative features and storefronts. This will be an excellent spot for sketching the holiday vibe, be it hurrying shoppers, architecture or mistletoe and elves. Also, this is our last coffee sketch for the year. Special bonus, we may have a Minnesota Star Tribune writer join us to discover what Urban Sketchers Twin Cities is all about. "HI Lori – thank you for contacting Rosedale Center and for your interest in sketching in the mall. We appreciate artistic endeavors and ask that you please be mindful of people’s privacy and comfort. Please follow these guidelines at Rosedale:

Remain in the common areas, and not in a tenants’ space.
Obtain their permission before sketching specific individuals. Respect anyone who declines to be sketched.
Be discreet and avoid disrupting shoppers or businesses.
Do not sketch security personnel or sensitive areas.

1. "Nooks and Crannies" Urban Sketchers Twin Cities Show at the Bakken Museum! This exhibit of our 50 sketches will open with an Artist's Reception on Sunday, January 5th, 2-4pm. Light Refreshments will be available, watch for more information.
