Coffee Sketch at Mia (Minneapolis Institute of Arts) This Friday, Nov. 22 (10am-12pm)

 Urban Sketchers Twin Cities, join us for a Coffee Sketch!

When: this Friday, November 22nd, 10am-12pm

Where: Minneapolis Institute of Arts (Mia), 2400 3rd Ave. S, Minneapolis, MN

This will be a new challenge for some! Only pencil and colored pencil allowed in the galleries. Meet at 10:00 a.m. in the area of the coffee shop, first floor next to gift shop. The museum provides stools if you don’t want to tote your own. Stools are located under the stairwell as you enter the museum. Throw-down at 11:45 a.m. in coffee shop area. Entrance to main galleries is free. There is free street parking as well as a pay ramp. See you there!

@3pm- M'sktchrs MEET'N'SHARE, also in the lobby. All are welcome. We’re all on personal art journeys & respect that of each other. Everyone is encouraging of each other here, so please feel comfortable to share with our art show-and-tell.
If you want to come early or stay late,
MMAA is open Thurs–Sun, 10a–4:00p
Sketch chairs are allowed.
Wet medias are not allowed (no watercolors for example)
Sundays are free street parking in Downtown St Paul.
Public Transit options- the Green Line's Central station is a block away as well as any bus that travels on Robert St.
Please follow basic rules of good behavior. Do not block other visitors path to the art.
