1. October Sketch Meet at Franconia Sculpture Park and Heart of the Beast Puppets.
When: Saturday October 19, 2024
Meet time: 12:45 p.m., throw down at 3:00 p.m.

We
are invited to Franconia Sculpture Park for a day of sketching at the
October Event: Big Puppets! Big Sculptures! Activities throughout the
park!
MEET-UP
LOCATION: White Gazebo to the left of main parking lot. It is in front
of the white house, opposite of gallery building.
Sketchers are welcome to stay for the full event 1:00-6:00p.m.

Franconia
has invited Heart of the Beast Theater Company (HOBT) and puppeteers to
animate a variety of large-scale puppets to interact with their
large-scale sculptures. As well as live dance, music and Halloween
hayrides. There should be some wonderfully fun sketch opportunities
with these large characters.
This
event will be free to the public, with a suggested donation of $10 per
vehicle. Food trucks will sell food and beverages on site.

2. Coffee Sketch at Lost Fox Coffee/Cafe and Mears Park
When: Wednesday, October 16th, 10am-12pm. We’ll
meet at the Lost Fox at 10 a.m.
Where: 213 4th St E #100, St Paul, MN 55101
Weather pending, some may want to
sketch outdoors at nearby Mears Park. Plus, the back-alley of Lost Fox
is fascinating. Throw-down at Lost Fox at 11:45 a.m.
Lost Fox has good coffee and food. Metered street parking is available. See you there
