August Sketch Meet: Crosby Farm Regional Park 8/18 with NPS

Urban Sketchers Twin Cities and the National Parks Service Mississippi National River Recreation Area are pleased to co-host an afternoon of sketching and exploration at Crosby Farm Regional Park.This amazing park is a true retreat within the city! Pack your greens to capture this beautiful park and its riverfront on 8/18 from 12-3pm.
12pm: Meet at the Picnic Shelter at the South Parking Lot at noon for a brief welcome by USk-TC. NPS staff will provide an interpretive talk to get us oriented to the park, its history and ecology. Multiple options are available for the afternoon:
- Open sketching time
- A guided nature sketching activity by USk-TC with provided materials by NPS.
- For anyone interested in a true sketchwalk, a 30-45 minute naturalist walk will also be provided. and provide
2:45pm: re-gather at the Picnic Shelter for sharing sketches and a group photo.

Getting There: Crosby Farm is accessible by bike, bus, and personal vehicle. Check MetroTransit.org for bus routes and times. Please consider carpooling if arriving by car. Parking is available at the south parking lot and along Crosby Farm Road.
