Just a reminder that we meet at Central Lutheran Church tomorrow, February 28th for a Mid-Week sketch meeting. Hope to see you there. The red X shows that entrance closed as the parking ticket machine is being repaired.
For those of you attending the Mid-Week Sketch at Central Lutheran in Downtown Minneapolis on February 28 at 1P, the map to the validated parking is below. The entrance with the red X is not available right now as the parking ticket machine at that entrance is being repaired. For a macro-perspective on the location, Central Lutheran is immediately east of the Convention Center.

Central Lutheran Church was built in 1927 and is known for the expansive sanctuary with gothic style arches, abundant stained glass and a Casavant Organ that governs the south wall of the sanctuary. The church balcony offers sketching opportunities of the sanctuary and a new three-tiered mosaic embellished baptismal fountain. Original 100 year-old doors lead into the sanctuary from the north narthex. The modern great room with two story glass walls will have tables set up for sketching cityscapes.

We will meet in the great room at 1P.
You can enter the church from the south if you are coming from the ramp or parking lot, or from the north doors if walking or arriving by bus. We will be in the Great Room to greet you and Pastor Melissa Pohlman will be there to welcome Urban Sketchers Twin Cities to Central Lutheran Church and share any space restrictions. No charcoal or open ink containers for this interior sketch opportunity. We can decide if we want to have our photo taken at the end of the sketch in the Sanctuary or the Great Room.
The Church will validate parking but sketchers must use the east side entrance to the parking ramp for validation.
