October Sketch Meet - Historic Grain Belt complex & MISA sketch sharing, 10/22 11:30-3pm

 Hi Urban Sketchers Twin Cities!

Mark Your Calendars for our October Sketch Meet on Saturday, October 22nd (fourth weekend).

 

Come out to historic Northeast Minneapolis to sketch the Grain Belt brewery complex and see sketches from USk-TC members who attended the USk workshops at Madeline Island School of Art. 

 

1. When: Saturday, October 22nd, 11:30ish-3pm. (Note the slightly earlier start time!)

2. Where: SIP Coffee Bar, 34 13th Ave NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413 and the Historic Grain Belt Brewery complex

3. What: Meet at SIP Coffee Bar at 11:30ish get a drink to enjoy. USk-TC members will share sketches made during the Urban Sketchers workshops at Madeline Island School of Art starting at 12:00. After the sketchbook sharing, we're sketch at the Historic Grain Belt Brewery complex before regrouping to share sketches and take a group photo at 2:45pm.

DONATE SKETCHES

Urban Sketchers Twin Cities will be hosting a silent auction at the AIA-MN (American Institute of Architects, Minnesota chapter) conference November 9-11. A portion of the auction proceeds will be given to our group.

Can you donate one or multiple original sketches you’ve done from the Twin Cities area? They can be from our sketch meets or ones you’ve done on your own.

Deadline to submit sketches: November 1

How to Submit sketches: Bring to the October Sketch Out or drop off with the receptionist at Alliiance, 400 Clifton Ave. Minneapolis 55403 during business hours.
