July Sketch Event, Sunday, 7/17, 12-3pm, Macalester College in St. Paul

 

Hi Urban Sketchers Twin Cities!
Please join us at Macalester College for our monthly sketch outing.

1. Sunday July 17, 12-3pm.

2. Where: Macalester College in St. Paul (1600 Grand Avenue
Saint Paul, MN 55105-1899). Uma Kelkar will do a demo, then we will sketch in the area. After sketching we will go shopping at Wet Paint followed by bubble tea at Sencha (both on Grand Ave)

3. We'll meet at Macalester on the Great Lawn in front of the building Old Main at noon and again at 2:45pm to share our work and take a group photo. You can park on nearby streets. Go East on Lincoln (just one block south of Wet Paint) to Old Main.

We've enjoyed recent Mid-week sketch outings...

 

At Sea Salt Eatery at Minnehaha Falls, despite the rain, we still had fun!

At Lake Nokomis Beach...hot and windy, but lots to sketch!

We also enjoyed an impromptu sketch outing at St. Anthony Main last weekend with guest sketchers from the USK Dallas-Forth Worth group. We enjoyed sketching the skyline, shops, and eating at Aster Cafe. It's great to make new friends, and we enjoyed sketching with Kathryn and David very much!
