September 4 Bonus Event-- Sketching at Squirrel Haus Arts! 12-3pm

 Hello Urban Sketchers Twin Cities!

We have been invited for a special bonus event by Donna Meyer (Spidie), a member of our group.

What/Where: We will be sketching at Squirrel Haus Arts (http://www.squirrelhausarts.com/). Squirrel Haus Arts is an 8,000 sq. ft. creative incubator, community gathering space, performance venue, workshop and art gallery in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis. Squirrelhaus faces the grain elevators and RR tracks on Hiawatha and 35th street, so there are plenty of industrial scenes to sketch and possibly trains too!

When: Saturday, September 4th, 12-3pm. If it rains, we will meet the same time on Sunday, September 5th.

What To Bring: A stool or chair, hat, sketch supplies, sunscreen, water, and sketching friends! Restrooms and water will also be available, as well as some shade too.

Directions: Please come to the rear of Squirrel Haus Arts at 3450 Dight Ave. Cross street is 35th St. We are one block east of Hiawatha Ave. Look for the squirrel mural. That’s us!
Park across the street from SHA in the dirt parking lot and down the west side of Dight Ave in front of the long building. Parking is free.

Please do not park in the lot immediately next door to SHA as it is an active driveway over weekends. There is a bus stop at 35th St and Minnehaha Ave. Walk two blocks east to Dight Ave. Questions? Contact Donna at donnaspidiemeyer@gmail.com
