August 1 Bonus Sketch Event at Loring Park Art Festival! Sunday, 8/1, 12-3 pm

 

Hi Urban Sketchers Twin Cities!

Come out to beautiful Loring Park on Sunday, August 1, 12-3 pm, for the Loring Park Art Festival Sketch Meet. This is an August bonus sketch event for our group.

Loring Park is located near 1382 Willow St, in Minneapolis, across Hennepin from the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. What to sketch: cool buildings, people, musicians, artists, food vendors, entertainment, children’s activities, the community garden, squirrels, rabbits, pigeons, waterfowl, and anything else that stirs your interest in this urban park festival. 

Meet and Greet at 12 noon at the Community Performance Building, click this link to see map and building photos.

We will meet up again in this same location at 2:45 p.m. to share sketches and take a group photo.

The festival is July 31-Aug. 1 (Sat. and Sun.) If you can’t join us on Sunday, you are more than welcome to sketch at your leisure on Saturday. Our group is listed as one of the activities during the festival, so we'd love plenty of participation.
