Did you know that open heart surgery was pioneered at the University of Minnesota by Dr. C. Walton Lillehei during the 1950s? The newest building on the University of Minnesota campus continues this research. The Cancer and Cardiovascular Research Building is the latest addition to the Biomedical Discovery
District near the TCF Stadium.
The architecture firm I work for was the local architect on the
project and last Thursday I was asked to assist with a photoshoot of the space.
I think professional fake scientist could be a lucrative second career for me, no?
The local paper featured an article about the opening of the building.
For a shot I wasn't needed on, I sketched our office intern, Malia, modeling with her research gear.
