Aftermath of Tragic House Fire in South Minneapolis

A few blocks from where I live, a young man died in a house fire. I sketched the aftermath (click on sketch to make it bigger). There is something sad about an old house destroyed by fire, sadder still if the fire claimed a life.

I've also embedded a video I made for The Uptake of a police raid on the same house in 2008. The house was one of several that were raided because of protest activity related to the Republican National convention in St. Paul.
