Second Annual Minnesota State Fair Sketch Out: Saturday, August 28, 2010
Join us for the Second Annual Minnesota State Fair Sketch Out on Saturday, August 28.
There will be two meetings at which you can touch base and meet other sketchers. See complete details at the link above (including a map showing the meeting locations). There will be buttons designed by Ken Avidor and featuring a State Fair painting by Roberta Avidor.
For a preview of the buttons see Roz Wound Up on Thursday, August 26—Fair Opening Day! Better yet, just show up at one of the meetings and I'll give you a button. Buttons are free to sketchers (while supplies last).
If you can't get to the sketch out but still go to 2010 Fair to sketch, send me (rozjournalrat@gmail.com) a jpg to post on this blog—Twin Cities Urban Sketchers—and you can pick up a button at the September meeting of the MCBA Visual Journal Collective (while supplies last).
