Bell Museum Sketchout - Wednesday 18 December 5:30-8:30

It's hibernation time at the Bell Museum with their December After Hours theme of Rest-oration. Please note this will be a Wednesday evening event. Enjoy a winter evening of sketching the collections and enjoying the After Hours activities.

Sketch by Daniel Green

Where: Bell Museum, 2088 Larpenteur Avenue West, St Paul, MN 55113
When: 5:30-8:30pm Wednesday, 18 December 2019
Cost: FREE for the first 25 sketchers. Regular admission rates after that.

Please check in at the ticket desk and let them know you're an Urban Sketcher. After the first 25, regular admission rates apply. Reminder: UMN students and members get free admission every day.

Let's meet in the main lobby at 5:30 to say hello. We'll meet in the lobby again at 8:15 to share our sketches and take a group photo.

What makes this sketchout even more wonderful is that the Bell Museum, a beloved sketching spot for Urban Sketchers Twin Cities has invited our chapter to collaborate on an artistic endeavor!

The Bell is looking for nature-themed sketches for use on postcards for correspondence with donors and other museum constituents. Participating sketchers need to be willing to share their work with the Bell and will be recognized with their name on the card and a small stipend. Artwork could be seasonal, with a focus on late fall and winter, or could highlight the collections. Final selections will be made by the Bell Museum.

To submit sketches for consideration, please upload them using this form. If you have technical difficulties, please contact urbansketcherstwincities [at] gmail [dot] com.
