October Sketchout - Peavey Plaza

EDIT: We missed some important information on this post! This sketchout is happening October 19th 10am-12:30pm. Thanks to everyone who reached out to ask for further details.

Back by popular demand! Amber Sausen and Daniel Green will be leading a workshop for the College of Design's Design Student and Alumni Board. Come to sketch on your own or join in a series of guided exercises.

From napkin doodlers to plein air masters, Urban Sketching is a growing movement that brings together folks with a common passion – they like to draw the world around them! Join local Urban Sketchers Daniel Green and Amber Sausen for a fall sketch session at the newly re-opened Peavey Plaza in downtown Minneapolis. The renovated plaza has spectacular views of the city and blurs the line between landscape architecture and architecture. Daniel and Amber will lead us through several sketching exercises intended for sketchers of all skill levels! We will end the session with a stroll over to Peace Coffee inside the AT&T Tower – warming up and perking up with caffeinated beverages and an opportunity to share your sketches with others.

Supplies: Bring your favorite sketching supplies and warm clothes (In case of wet or overly windy weather, there is a back-up plan to move indoors).

This month's outing is supported by our friends at the Design Student and Alumni Board and their 2019-20 College to Career Program Sponsors:
Haworth, Studio BV, Damon Farber Landscape Architects, Lucy Interior Design, HGA, WSB, and Made for Retail
