Dreary day, dreariest building in downtown St. Paul
I set out to draw something this Sunday. The day was so dreary that I decided to portray what I think is the dreariest building in downtown St. Paul. At least my vantage point from the skyway was fairly warm and dry. The canned 1970's music emanating from nearby Town Square completed the dreary (but fun) experience. Terrific watercolor Roberta! Yes, it is a dreary building today, but you made it look interesting.
ReplyDeleteSo depressing, it's thrilling!
ReplyDeleteI agree, this is the dreariest building. Great sketch! I have fond memories of the old Woolworth building. As a kid, (mid 80's) we enjoyed shakes while we sat at the soda fountain bar.
