Urban sketchers weekend

Such a great group, beautiful day, amazing trees. This was my best of 5 sketches. This monument caught my eye from a distance and downhill. Once I got there the trees were much smaller so I combined the close and far. I have been working on colors (especially the transparents) lately.

This was fun to watch happen on the paper. What a day.
