One of my favorite sketches from a few years ago waiting for the bus at the downtown library. This was a building we studied in architecture school. The curve you see in the curtian wall actually follows the unique structure of this building.  The floors are actually hung along this "catenary curve".  So cool to see images from our architecture tech classes standing there in real life, everyday...

  1. Nice sketch. The building used to be a Federal Reserve Bank, then a temporary library... now? Also has a park in front dedicated to cancer survivors.

  2. Thanks. I was worried when I saw the addition, but I think they were really respectful. You know, additions to great buildings don't always work, but I think this one does some how. Now, if only the other two sides would make some big urban decisions/moves.....this could be a nice amenity.
