Before the Rain

Last night after a meeting at MCBA I walked out to my car and couldn't resist sketching the huge, white, marshmallow top of the Metrodome as it peeked out between the buildings, glowing against the stormy sky. It was so windy I had difficulty holding my book. Rain did eventually come, but I was back in my car by that point.

  1. Nice sketch, Roz.

The Metrodome is another familiar building that is likely to disappear.

When is that meeting about the State Fair Sketchcrawl?

I forgot to put it on my calendar.

  2. Thanks Ken, I wonder what will happen to the skyline and the streets, when they do get rid of the dome! It will be very odd.

We're going to meet on August 17 at 7 p.m. to talk about sketching at the State Fair (as a crawl, both at the same time or just at the same event).

I have to go and look at the animal showing schedule and plan my days at the Fair!!
